The Daily Details

Hours of Operation:  Huckleberry Cheesecake is open Monday- Friday, from 8 am- 6 pm.  We follow the Federal Government for holiday closings and for weather closings.

Food:   Huckleberry Cheesecake has partnered with Good Food Company to provide a hot nutritious meal and organic milk for your child at lunch and two snacks throughout the course of the day. We not only meet the nutritional guidelines set by the USDA and the standards of the Office of the State Superintendent of  Education (OSSE) but most often, we exceed them. Great importance is placed on providing healthy food and limiting salt, sugar, preservatives, and artificial color additives. Fresh fruit and vegetables, whole grain breads, and low-fat dairy products are used in planning meals. If your child has special dietary requirements other arrangements can be made.   Huckleberry Cheesecake and Good Food are nut-free facilities.  Monthly menus are posted outside of each classroom. Click here for a sample menu.

Birthdays:  We look forward to celebrating your child's birthday at Huckleberry Cheesecake!  Parents are invited to bring a special snack to share with your child's classmates.  Mini-cupcakes and muffins are a favorite but other healthy choices are also encouraged.  Please remember, Huckleberry Cheesecake is nut-free.

Clothing:   Each child at Huckleberry Cheesecake has his/her own cubby for their personal belongings. Everything your child wears and brings to the center must be labeled. Toddlers and preschoolers should have a complete change of clothes in her/his cubby at all times. Infants should have two complete changes. Clothes and linens soiled at the center will be sent home. We require that blankets and sheets be taken home every Friday to be laundered. Please check your child's clothes regularly to make sure your child has a change of clothes, and that they are seasonally appropriate.
